Srinagar: The Jama’at-e-Islami Wednesday said a party delegation visited Trechal village in Pulwama district and expressed sympathy with the victims of maltreatment.
Jama’at in a statement while denouncing the “excesses” in this district, said: “Forces have fractured limbs of a number of persons including minor boys, young ladies and aged persons in recent days.”
“This inhuman action is the worst possible violation of the fundamental human rights having no justification even under the constitution,” the statement said.
Jama’at demands a high level probe into this incident.
