Srinagar: Several activists of the pro-India National Conference (NC) on Tuesday were arrested from this capital city during a demonstration against the Kulgam killings.

Scores of NC activists led by the party General Secretary Ali Mohamad Sagar this morning took out a protest march from the Nawai-e-Subah headquarters against the killings in south Kashmir’s Kulgam, witnesses told Kashmir Reader. The protesters carrying placards and banners were shouting Pro-Kashmir and anti-BJP slogans.

When the protesters reached near the erstwhile Radio Kashmir station, police swung into action and detained many NC activists and bundled them in the vehicles.
