Srinagar: Terming the killings in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district as “a brazen display of human genocide”, Tehreek-e- Hurriyat chairman Mohammad Ashraf Sehraie on Monday said that no power or repression can break the resolve of “freedom-loving” Kashmiris.
In a statement, Sehraie said under a “well-planned conspiracy”, the forces in absence of any accountability, have decided to go for a full-fledged war against the people of Kashmir.
“The government forces have failed to suppress Kashmiris and are now using inhuman and brazen tactics to suppress their resolve. However, the sacrifices rendered by the people won’t go waste,” he said.
Sehraie added, “The martyrdom of these youth have put a huge responsibility on our shoulders and it is our responsibility to honour these sacrifices and take the movement to its ongoing resistance movement to its logical end.”
“How long will the world community maintain silence over the genocide of Kashmiris,” he said. “Why don’t they break silence over the human rights violations in Kashmir?”
