SRINAGAR: The J&K Board of School Education has postponed examinations scheduled on Monday.
JKBOSE chairperson Veena Pandita said the examination scheduled on October 22, Monday, stand postponed and fresh examination dates will be announced later.
Meanwhile, a statement issued by the Controller of Examinations, University Of Kashmir, said the examination of the papers of BG 1st semester, scheduled to be held on Monday has been rescheduled and shall now be conducted on Wednesday.
“However, all the rest of the examinations scheduled to be conducted on Monday shall be held as per schedule,” the statement said.
The Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST), Awantipora has also announced that all examinations scheduled on Monday stand postponed.
“New dates shall be notified,” the IUST said in a statement.
Meanwhile, the one-day workshop on ‘Waqf Administration in Jammu & Kashmir: Law and Practice’ which was scheduled on 22 October 2018 at Nowgam-I academic block of the Central University of Kashmir has been postponed.
The next date of the workshop would be communicated soon, an official statement said.
