Visits residence of slain militants, civilian in Srinagar
Srinagar: The chairman of Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Muhammad Yasin Malik and associate Noor Muhammad Kalwal were released from police custody on Saturday, the party said.
Malik was arrested on October 2nd and Kalwal on October 9th, and were lodged at police station Kothi-bagh in Srinagar.
“Soon after his release, Malik along with a delegation visited Feteh Kadal and Khanyar in Srinagar and expressed condolences to the families of slain militants – Meraj ud din Bangroo, Fahad Mushtaq Waza and slain civilian Raies Ahmad Sofi, who were recently killed in Fateh Kadal,” the statement said.
Malik on the occasion, it reads, said sacrifices rendered by Kashmiri youth and their families will never go waste.
JKLF chairman also condemned the killing and arrest spree, it said.
