PULWAMA: The District Development Commissioner Pulwama, G. M. Dar, today chaired a Tribal Sub-Plan (TSP) meeting to review the progress on various development activities in the scheduled tribe habitations of cluster model villages, Gulshanpora and Karmulla.
Chief Planning Officer, Assistant Commissioner Development, Chief Medical Officer, Exen R&B, Exen PHE, Exen Electric and other concerned attended the meeting.
The meeting was informed that under Tribal Sub-Plan an amount of Rs 700.03 lakh is authorized in which an amount of Rs 241.60 lakh has been spent till March 2018 by different Departments including R&B, Health, RDD, Education, Agriculture, and Horticulture.
On the occasion, DDC impressed upon all the officers to work in synergy to achieve the targets under the sub-plan, so that the social inclusion of the tribal community is achieved within the set time.
TSP aims to bridge the gap between the scheduled tribes (STs) and the general population with respect to all socio-economic development indicators in a time-bound manner along with their protection against exploitation.
