RAJOURI: A One week workshop on “problem solving & programming skills enhancement” concluded here at Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU) Rajouri on Saturday.
The workshop was organized by the department of Information Technology & Engineering and Computer Science & Engineering, School of Engineering & Technology in collaboration with the department of Computer Engineering, Aligarh Muslim University under centrally sponsored scheme Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme (TEQIP-III) .
According to a statement, the objective of the workshop was to improve and enhance the basic programming skills of the students of ITE & CSE and it covered detailed theory as well as practical sessions on C & C++ Programming languages.
Five experts from the department of computer engineering, AMU held 15 technical sessions in one week.
Vice-Chancellor, Prof Javed Musarrat congratulated the department for conducting the workshop and stressed upon organizing such workshops and seminars in future also.
In the valedictory function, Dean Academics & TEQIP-III Coordinator Prof Iqbal Pervaiz lauded the efforts of organizing committee members of the department for conducting week long workshop. He said that sustainable efforts are being made to develop school of engineering and technology as a centre of excellence in engineering and technology.
Malik Mubasher Hassan, Head department of ITE briefed the audience about the workshop proceedings.
The workshop ended with the distribution of certificates and mementos to the participants and the resource persons.
