Two Jaish militants from Pakistan killed in northern Kashmir’s Baramulla: Police

Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir police on Friday said that both the militants killed in Baramulla shootout earlier today are Pakistanis. Both the militants belonged to Jaish-e-Muhammad militant outfit.

Police sources said that the two were identified by their code names Faizan and Wahab.

The duo was killed after a private vehicle was asked to stop by a Naka party in Baramulla.

“As the vehicle stopped, the militants opened fire on the police who retaliated killing them both.”

A police personnel was also killed in the exchange of fire.
