Srinagar: The conglomerate of militant outfits United Jehad Council Thursday said that 71 years of Kashmir history is testimony to the fact that the Government of India was and neither will be ready for a peaceful settlement of Kashmir issue
The outfit chief Syed Salahuddin in a statement said: “Every soul in Kashmir including budding youth know this fact that GoI is not sincere and ready for a peaceful resolution of Kashmir and that is why young militants like Burhan Wani became part of the armed struggle.”
He said there is a dire need of intellectuals, scholars and educated lot to be part of ongoing freedom struggle in Kashmir.
Salahuddin said that time demands that educated and qualified people with vision and wisdom be part of the Kashmir movement. He impressed upon Pakistan to be more active on diplomatic front and force international organizations to do the needful for the people of Kashmir and stop human rights violations.
