Srinagar: Normal life remained crippled for the third consecutive today in parts of the Old City here city due to the restrictions imposed by authorities to prevent protests called by joint resistance leadership (JRL) against the alleged atrocities.

Restrictions continue to remain in place in the Old City areas of Nowhatta, Khanyar, Rainawari, Safakadal and Maharaj Gunj in a bid to thwart protests on the JRL call, reports said.
