SUMBAL: The Legal Services Authority of Sumbal Munsif Court inaugurated two separate Legal Literacy Club’s, on Wednesday at government secondary school for girls in Hajin and Secondary school at Asham in Bandipora district.
The aim of this scheme was to aware the students legally in different matters. The present scheme is an initiative to provide the knowledge of fundamental rights, duties, laws and other rules and regulations of the court’s.
Speaking to the gathering, the chief guest for the function Manzoor Hussain, Chairman Legal Services Authority/Judicial Magistrate Munsif Court of Sumbal said the main purpose of this Club is to make people aware about their legal rights and duties.
The initiative will bring some enormous changes in the society and most importantly it will come by use medium of education through students.
‘By this initiative we can also help the poor and needy people who do not have enough money to contest the court cases. There is no need for the people who are aware about the Legal services of the court to visit the court’s for the small and family matters Manzoor said and added that Legal Services Authority provides them a platform to sort out the local issues at the local level so that nobody can suffer particularly poor people.
The function was also attended by the advocates of Munsif Court Sumbal who threw some light about the benefits of the Legal Services. However, the headmistress of government secondary school for girls Hajin and other staff members of the school were also present on this occasion. There was also an active interaction between the Legal Services Authority members and the students of the school.
