JAMMU: Chairman J&K Grameen Bank Janak Raj Angural on Tuesday inaugurated the new premises of Regional Office Jammu, J&K Grameen Bank at Channi Himmat, Jammu.
Chairman Janak Raj Angural on the occasion informed that J&K Grameen Bank has 217 branches in J&K State. He spoke about the ongoing J&K Grameen Bank Festival Bonanza – 2018 with a special offer of no processing charges and rebate in rate of interest in case of loans for purchase of car, two wheeler and consumer.
He said that the interest rates on loans & advances in JKGB are lowest amongst other banks in the state. He also told about various new schemes being introduced by the bank for financing under Agriculture/ Horticulture and setting up of Industries in J&K State.
During the interaction, he has informed that JKGB is successfully conducting state wide campaign regarding GOI’s social security schemes including APY, PMJJBY & PMSBY and claims 100 percent settlement in PMJJBY & PMSBY. He also said bank has already adopted the latest banking technologies like Rupay Cards, IMPS, SMS alerts etc and appealed people to take their advantages. Further, he informed that the bank is offering 24X7 cashless services of Mobile banking without Internet.
Romesh Vaid ,General Manager JKGB, Jitendra Bhardwaj, Chief Manager, Inspection, Audit & Vigilance, R K Narang Regional Manager were also present on the occasion. All the departmental heads and the branch heads of Jammu region were also present on the occasion.
