Militants attack camp in south Kashmir’s Pulwama, 2 CRPF troopers injured

Srinagar: Two CRPF troopers were injured in a militant attack in Newa area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, police today said.

Around 10:45pm on Monday, militants fired upon the camp of government forces in Newa area of the district leaving two CRPF troopers injured, a police spokesman said.

The injured troopers Amit Kumar and Santosh Bharti of 183 BN CRPF were removed to the hospital for treatment.

“Police has registered a case and started further investigations,” the spokesperson added.
