Aids given to differently-abled in Kargil

KARGIL: The scores of differently-abled individuals were given callipers, artificial limbs, cruches, artificial hands, gearing aids and wheel chairs at a function held by district administration in collaboration with Ratna Nidhi Charitable trust at reception centre, Baroo here on Saturday.
The aids were distributed by the DC Kargil Vikas Kundal.
Kundal stressed on initiating joint efforts to ensure that the disabled persons get better accessibility to all necessary services in a more pragmatic manner. He said such functions provide us with an opportunity to peep into the past endeavors and recognize our shortcomings for further improving the services towards these special people. He also asked all the concerned Departments and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) to work with unison and ensure every possible help to the deserved disabled persons.
Trustee, Ratna Nidhi Charitable Trust, Rajiv Mehta in his speech highlighted the activities of the Trust.
