Srinagar: The Kashmir Economic Alliance (KEA) chief – Muhammad Yaseen Khan Friday said that the entire Valley is in a state of grief after the loss of PhD scholar turned militant Manan Wani.
“Almost every day we have to shoulder the coffins of our young generation which is making it most painful for every human being,” Khan said in a statement.
“Our youth are making the greatest sacrifice of their life by giving preference to the gun rather than pen for the peoples’ movement. They are being forced to take extreme steps,” the statement said.
Khan appealed to the international community to impress upon GoI to enter into a sustained and serious dialogue with people of Jammu & Kashmir to resolve the issue that is generating tragedies and consuming our fourth generation.
