20 votes polled in Watergam, Langate in north Kashmir

Baramulla: Only 20 votes have been polled in last three hours for the twin municipal committees of Watergam and Langate in north Kashmir’s Baramulla and Kupwara districts.

In two of the wards of the Langate municipal committee, 17 votes have been cast till 10:00 am, officials told Kashmir Reader. Among them, ten were polled by men while seven others by female.

The two wards have a total of 650 eligible voters.

There are no polls on the 11 of the thirteen wards of Langate municipal committee since the candidates have been declared winners unopposed.

In Water municipal committee, just three male voters have turned up till 10:00 am, officials said.
