TeH condemns Sehrai’s house arrest

SRINAGAR: Authorities have again put chairman of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai under house arrest and restricted his political and social activities, a party spokesperson said on Monday.
The spokesperson in a statement issued here slammed authorities for imposing “undemocratic and unethical” restrictions on TeH chairman and senior party leader Mohammad Ashraf Laya who he said is detained in police station Raj Bagh.
“(This) is a state terrorism,” the spokesperson said.
“Such arrests won’t dampen the spirits of leadership and we will continue to fight fearlessly against this brutal occupation at any cost till it reaches its conclusion,” he added.
