ULB polls: Voters prevent photojournalists from taking pictures at Bemina booth

Srinagar: A group of voters on Monday prevented photojournalists from taking their pictures at a polling booth in Bemina area of the city outskirts.

A couple of photojournalists working with different local and Indian media houses were prevented from taking pictures by voters at a polling booth set up at  government boys high school Bemina this morning, witnesses told Kashmir Reader.

The photojournalists tried to reason with the voters but the latter didn’t relent.

The first phase of municipal and local body elections started this morning. 1204 candidates are in fray in the first phase of polls.
