ANANTNAG: A paramilitary CRPF soldier sustained minor splinter injuries after militants hurled a hand grenade at a CRPF vehicle, here in main town Tral in Pulwama district.
The injured soldier has been shifted to hospital and his condition is stated to be stable.
As per police reports, a vehicle of CRPF 180 Bn was attacked right outside the headquarters of the battalion in Hyer area of Tral town.
“The incident took place at about 6:00 PM. In the blast, the driver of the vehicle sustained minor injuries,” a senior police official told Kashmir Reader.
He said that the injured man has been evacuated to hospital and is being treated for his injuries.
Following the blast, government forces cordoned off the area and searches were being carried out to try and nab the attackers.
