Srinagar: The Kashmir Centre for Social and Development Studies (KCSDS) – a civil society group – Saturday said it has mailed a letter to the UN Secretary-General inviting him to Kashmir during his visit to India in October.
“We have received a response from the office of the Secretary-General,” the statement said. “After acknowledging the letter, his office regretted his inability to visit Kashmir. KCSDS has mailed another letter to him appealing him for taking up Kashmir issue with New Delhi during his visit.”
