SRINAGAR: The 11th class students from various institutions on Saturday staged a protest demonstration here demanding deferment of exams till Mid-November.
Scores of students assembled here in press enclave and chanted slogans against J&K State Board of School Education (JKBOSE). They also held banners ‘We Want Justice’ and ‘Defer Our Exams’.
“We have not completed our syllabus, and the Board has announced exams from ending October. How is it possible for us to appear in the exams without any preparation,” said the students from SP Higher Secondary School.
“The exams should be deferred to mid-November so that we could complete our syllabus and appear in exams without any stress,” the students said.
