Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir police and other investigation agencies on Saturday questioned the personal security officers of PDP legislator Aijaz Mir after one of his PSO’s fled with eight weapons from his guard post.

A Special Police Officer posted with the MLA fled with at least eight weapons, including the licensed pistol of the legislator, from his official residence at Jawahar Nagar in Srinagar.

Reports said that all the policemen posted at the residence of Mir were quizzed by the police today, while the official residence of the lawmaker was also sealed.

Personal security officer of Mir, lawmaker from Wachi constituency in Shopian district, on Friday approached police station Rajbagh and stated that the weapons of seven PSOs attached with the legislator were missing from his official residence in Jawahar Nagar—the area housing official residences of officers and legislators.
