Srinagar: Kashmir Economic Alliance (KEA) chairperson Muhammad Yaseen Khan on Friday condemned the killing of civilian Muhammad Saleem by the forces during search operation at Noor Bagh Srinagar and said that even his funeral procession was targeted.
Khan in a statement termed this incident as inhuman act and said, “Such atrocities are now becoming intolerable and suffocating with each passing day.”
Khan asked: how can they kill any innocent without any justification? “Civilians continue to get killed at the will by the forces and it is the worst form of human rights abuses,” Khan said and added: “because of the unbridled powers given to the forces and the lack of accountability, every day innocent civilians are killed, which is condemnable in all forms”.
He appealed the international rights groups to take cognizance of the human rights violations taking place in Kashmir.
