Srinagar: Ingenious School of Education here in Malla Bagh, Hazratbal is all set to start its second academic session 2018-19 from October this year for which admissions are welcome with the theme ‘we do not admit you, we adopt you’.
The institution had its first successful academic session last year (2017-18) when the school was inaugurated keeping in view the aim of providing students the competitive platform by educating those (children) for success in a changing world.
The school chairman Mir Murtaza Asif said the institution is based on the belief that education begins the moment we see children as “innately wise and capable beings” and then we play along in their world.
“We provide the children the best quality education and train them in multi dimensions and develop them to be capable of competing in the future,” he said.
Murtaza said the best way to make a school a pleasurable atmosphere for learning is by providing a “right type of education” with a “right methodology” at a “right time” in a joyful way.
“It seems to be simple enough which it actually isn’t but this institution has successfully initiated this method of learning,” he said. “We have put forward a method of learning by embracing change in the education system, to make our school a favourable environment for children and we have succeeded, which most of schools in the Valley failed in, since our existing educational institutions are extremely resistant to change.”
The school chairman added, “Ingenious School of Education has come up with a change. As the whole system needs desperate changes, how long are we going to dream about such changes to happen so, it was the call of time to act promptly.”
The school principal Mukhtar Ahmad Mir said that in the modern world, the demand for providing quality education gains ground. “So our school has taken the responsibility and made it,” he said.
“We not only focus on English language (because it is the medium) but teach other languages including Arabic, Urdu, and Kashmiri as well, and give equal timing in teaching each subject including Islamic studies and computer. The institution teaches basic computer language so as to make children competitive enough in the world of technology,” Mukhtar said.
The admissions are open in the school’s main campus from pre-nursery to 5th class, for the academic session 2018-19.
