Unknown gunmen abduct tailor in north Kashmir’s Sopore

Sopore: Unidentified gunmen on Saturday night abducted a man from Harwan village of this north Kashmir Township.

45-year-old Mushtaq Ahmad, son of Ghulam Rasool Mir was abducted by masked gunmen from his house in Harwan locality of Sopore here last night; official sources told Kashmir Reader on Sunday.

Ahmad is said to be a tailor by profession.

SSP Sopore, Javed Iqbal told Kashmir Reader that police have received a complaint from the family claiming their family member was kidnapped from his home by unknown gunmen last night.

“We have launched a manhunt to trace the abducted man,” he added.
