HAJIN: Family members of two youths from Hajin area of Bandipora district, who are missing since August 31, have appealed authorities to help them in tracing the youth.
The families also appealed their sons to return home.
Mohammad Saqib Bilal, 17, son of Bilal Ahmad Sheikh and Mudasir Rashid, 15, son of Abdul Rashid Parray, both residents of Hajin have not visited their homes since August 31.
Saqib is a student of class 11, while Mudasir is student of 9th grade. Both have two siblings at home, a brother and a sister each.
“We appeal you both wherever you are, please come back home as soon possible. Don’t leave us like this,” Meema mother of Saqib told Kashmir Reader.
She said she is hopeful that her son will return home and asked the general public to help to trace him. The family said Saqib had gone to market to buy meat but did not return since.
“We are worried about their whereabouts. We did not contact any relative (initially) as we thought that he might have gone to friend’s home but when he did not return home after two days we contacted every relative but could not locate him,” Aijaz Ahmad, a relative of Saqib told Kashmir Reader.
His phone has been switched off since, he said.
“We have lodged a missing report in the Police Station Hajin but we have not got any clue so far about their whereabouts,” he said
The two youth have not contacted their families since they went missing. There has neither been any information from any militant outfit about them.
