Srinagar: Muslim League on Tuesday condemned the police raid on the residence of party’s General Secretary Mohammad Rafiq Ganie.
In a statement, the spokesperson Sajad Ayobi said that police raided more than six times the house of Ganie at Kanipora Nowgam and harassed his family members. “Men in uniform have declared a war against the leaders of Muslim League,” he said.
He said that police has also arrested another party member Fairoz Ahmad Khan and he is detained in police station from last 20 days, and was booked under PSA. “This harassment is unwanted and these tactics can’t break political will of League activists,” he said.
He appealed the United Nations to take notice HR violations in Kashmir.
