Srinagar: Democratic Freedom Party on Tuesday paid tributes to Aijaz Ahmad Dar on his anniversary.
The DFP spokesperson in a statement said Dar will always be remembered among the pioneers of the ongoing resistance movement. “He is like every other martyr sacrificed his life for a great cause and scripted a new chapter of resistance history,” he said.
He said that the day is not far when the people of Jammu and Kashmir will enjoy their accepted and acclaimed political rights.
The party spokesperson strongly condemned the fresh arrest spree in the Valley and said that incarceration cannot silent people. He also denounced the arresting of many youth in night raids in Anantnag. “Instead of targeting the youth of Kashmir, it is better for New Delhi to accept the historical realities about the long pending Kashmir dispute so that it is resolved according to the wishes of the people,” he added.
