Bandipora: Government forces on Sunday launched cordon and search operations (CASOs) at three villages in this north Kashmir district.
The Army’s 27 RR together with police cordoned off Sheikh Muqam village in Aloosa in the wee hours and started a search operation after reports of presence of militants in the village, official sources told Kashmir Reader.
The Army’s 14RR and police also cordoned off Chan Mohalla locality in Sumlar village and conducted searches there.
According to officials, another search operation was launched at Dangerpora locality of Gundjehangir village in Sonawari division early on Sunday.
All the search operations yielded nothing and concluded “peacefully”, officials said.
