Srinagar: Chairman of Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Muhammad Yasin Malik on Saturday condemned the killings in south Kashmir’s Qazigund and Kulgam, and said “impunity from punishment has turned the forces cold-hearted”.
In a statement, Malik said, “Blood of Kashmiris is being spilled ruthlessly with no regret or remorse,” and added: “political dissent is choked and young Kashmiris are pushed to the wall and left with no other option but to go for ultimate sacrifice.”
Expressing anguish over the killing of yet another unarmed civilian Rouf Ahmad in south Kashmir, Malik said that “another budding flower has been trampled”.
“Government have no remorse or regret on this human loss and instead they are enjoying and cherishing this human tragedy,” he said and added: “Ongoing bloodshed in Kashmir is the result of the illogical approach by the government of India.
