IUST’s nursing college celebrates annual day

AWANTIPORA: The Alamdaar Memorial College of Nursing and Medical Technology, Chrar-i-Sharief, Budgam, a constituent college of Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) Awantipora celebrated its maiden annual day at IUST campus here.
According to a statement issued here, the toppers of the last year examinations were awarded with trophies and certificates. The lamp lighting session and oath ceremony were taken from nursing students. The first annual college magazine, “Reshmol” was released by the Vice Chancellor in presence of the participants.
Hassina Wani, Principal AMCONMT, Chrar-i-Sharief, gave an overview including achievements of the Syed Alamdaar College of Nursing and Medical Education, since its inception.
Vice Chancellor, Prof Mushtaq A Siddiqi, was the Chief Guest while as Dr Mehmooda Regu, Principal Madr-e-Maherbaan Institute of Nursing Sciences & Research College of Nursing, SKIMS was the Guest of Honour during the function. Prof A M Shah, Dean Academic Affairs, Prof Farooq Ahmad Mir, Registrar, Hassina Wani, Principal AMCONMT, senior nursing officials from SKIMS, Principal Govt College of Nursing Srinagar, Principal, Syed Mantaqi Memorial College, faculty, staff and students of Nursing Colleges of IUST were present on the occasion.
