Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Awami Action Committee on Thursday paid tributes to Abdul Hameed Kakroo of Baramulla on his demise.
“Kakroo was party’s prominent member, Kashmir’s noted legal luminary, and a close aide of Mirwaiz Muhammad Farooq and remained at the forefront of party’s activities on social, religious and political fronts,” a statement of Awami Action Committee said.
Terming the death of Kakroo as an irreparable loss, party senior leader Ghulam Nabi Zaki, who also visited the residence of the deceased, said that Kakroo left no stone unturned to take the party’s manifesto to the grass root level in district Baramulla.
Meanwhile, Hurriyat (M) chairman and AAC patron Mirwaiz Umar Farooq expressed his condolence on the demise of wife of retired Sessions Judge Mirza Saifudin Ahmed and extended his solidarity and sympathy with the family. Mirwaiz prayed for Jannah to the deceased.
