2-day workshop on ‘Invertebrate Diversity and Taxonomic Skills’ begins at Islamia College

SRINAGAR: The Department of Zoology, Islamia College of Science and Commerce (ICSC) in collaboration with Wildlife Research Conservation Foundation (WRCF) kick started a two-day workshop on “Invertebrate Diversity and Taxonomic Skills” here on Wednesday.
Principal ICSC, Prof Yaseen Ahmad Shah formally inaugurated the workshop and welcomed the speakers.
Tahir Gazanfer from WRCF and Saba, another expert spoke at length on the invertebrate diversity in the J&K state.
During the technical and field sessions, the students will be apprised about tolls and techniques involved in the taxonomical procedures.
