PSA slapped on three Shopian youth, shifted to Jammu jail

Srinagar: Authorities on Saturday slapped Public Safety Act (PSA) on three youth of south Kashmir’s Shopian and shifted them to some Jammu jail, sources said.

They said that police arrested three youth, Faisal Amin Khanday son of Mohammad Amin Khanday, Jeelani Gatto and Ubaid Ahmad all residents of Shopian town during nocturnal raids.

The trio was immediately shifted to Jammu from Mughal road, sources said.

They added that they have been booked on charges of stone pelting and holding protests in the town.
