Post graduate students of Cluster University seek deferment of third semester examination

SRINAGAR: Post Graduate students of Cluster University on Thursday staged a protest here demanding deferment of their third semester examination.
Scores of students from Cluster University assembled here in Press enclave and sought deferment of third semester examinations.
Chanting slogans, Post Graduate students from various departments including Zoology, Botany, Chemistry, physics and environmental sciences said that they are presently enrolled in SP College and have only completed 20 percent of the syllabus.
“Earlier university had issued notification of our internal exams starting from 8th September. After we approached the Vice Chancellor, a new notification for our internal examinations starting from 15 October 2018 was issued “said one of the protesting students from S.P College
The protesting students that they have started their 3rd semester classes just two months before and university authorities are ‘forcing’ them to complete their 3rd semester within three months.
“If duration period of semester is 6 months. How it is possible for us to complete our syllabus within three months,” the protesting students questioned.
The protesting students appealed University authorities to defer the examinations till November 15.
