PG students hold protest, demand deferment of third semester exams

Srinagar: The Post Graduate students of Cluster University on Thursday staged a protest here demanding deferment of third semester examinations.

Scores of students from Cluster University assembled here in Press enclave and staged a demonstration seeking deferment of third semester examinations, witnesses told Kashmir Reader. Chanting slogans, the PG students from various departments include Zoology, Botany, Chemistry, physics and environmental sciences said that they have only completed 20 percent of the syllabus so far.

“80 percent of the syllabus is incomplete. How can we appear in exams unprepared?” the students asked.

The protesting students urged University authorities to defer the examinations till November 15.
