Srinagar: Bhartiya Janta Party’s state general secretary, Ashok Kaul on Wednesday while addressing party meet in Srinagar, said BJPs sole agenda in Kashmir is to ensure development on all fronts and to make the J&K at par with the rest of Indian states.
In a statement, a spokesperson said Koul on the occasion asked the gathering to stick to the party ideology and work as per the party leadership in the Valley.
“BJP is committed to uproot poverty in the society for that scores of public welfare schemes have been launched by the government of India,” Koul said.
He said BJP is a party which is working for the upliftment of all the people irrespective of their religion, cast, creed, as the party’s sole agenda is development and betterment of people of all the segments.
A spokesperson said Khlalid Jehangir asked the workers to gear up for upcoming Panchayat and ULB elections “To meet the challenge, every worker must know his area intimately, must have personal rapport with every voter. Every worker must keep himself abreast of the working and procedures of enrolment of voters, which is the most important for getting success,” he said.
