JKBOSE extends affiliation to 65 schools in Kashmir, 58 in Jammu

SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education (JKBOSE) on Wednesday granted extension in affiliation to 65 schools of Kashmir division and 58 schools of Jammu division.
The extension was given by the State Affiliation Committee during a meeting which was convened by the JKBOSE chairperson Prof Veena Pandita. The committee also granted up gradation to 10 schools in Kashmir and 11 schools of Jammu division. Chairperson JKBOSE said that no case which has completed all the formalities and fulfilled whole criteria as laid upon by different SRO’s is pending with the Board.
The meeting was attended by Director School Education Jammu, Secretary JKBOSE, Joint Director DSEK, Joint Secretary (Gen-KD), Joint Secretary (Gen-JD), Chief Education Officer Srinagar, Principal SRML Jammu, Principal, GGHSS Nawakadal, Lecturer HSS Chanapora and RO, SIE, Jammu.
The list of the institutions granted upgradation/affiliation will be available on JKBOSE website within two days.
