Srinagar: Muslim League J&K on Monday paid rich tributes to the slain militant Muzaffar Ahmad Mir, 22, a resident of Astanpora Langate – who was killed in a gunfight at Dangiwach Rafiabad on August 5.
The League spokesperson Sajad Ayobi in a statement said that a delegation under the leadership of party’s acting chairman, Abdul Ahad Parra visited Langate Handwara and extended their heartfelt condolence to the family members of slain Mir.
He said that on the occasion, Parra said, “The sacrifices offered by the youth are the priceless assets for the ongoing freedom movement and that it was because of the lingering Kashmir issue, the region is witnessing bloodshed each passing day.”
“All these martyrs had conveyed a message that the Kashmiri people would never surrender despite atrocities,” Parra said. “Although we are grieved at the loss of our brave hearts, but the purpose for which they sacrificed their lives will yield results very soon.”
