Noida: In a board meeting of Asian Academy of Arts, a joint decision was taken to constitute and launch a prestigious and a powerful award for the promotion of art and culture after the name of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

“An Award titled as Atal Bihari Vajpayee National Award for the Promotion of Art and Culture to be given to all those who have contributed to the promotion of art and culture. This is the first of its kind in India to mark respect to the great poet and statesman of the Republic of India,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Academy of Arts.

“Today we are feeling elevated on announcing this award after the name of Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The Asian Education Group, Marwah Studios and all the hundreds of organizations associated with us will work for this prestigious award,” added Marwah remembering the quotes of former Prime Minister.

The award ceremony will be the part of the most popular Global Literary Festival Noida. The first edition of awards will be handed over during the 4th edition of Global Literary Festival, which has emerged as the second biggest literary festival of India.
