Govt forces ‘ransack’ Lashkar militant’s house, ‘thrash’ his family members

Anatnag: Government forces allegedly ransacked the house and beat family members of a Lashkar-e-Toiba militant in Rakh-e-Mamnoo village of Arwini area here in this south Kashmir district.

Around 2:00 am today, government forces raided our house and ransacked the household goods, the family members of active LeT militant Waris Malik alleged today.

The forces, they alleged also beat several members of the family.

This is the second such incident in as many days, locals said. Saturday night, house of another LeT militant Azad Malik was allegedly ransacked by the forces

SHO Bijbehara, Anzar Khan told Kashmir Reader that he was busy and he received information that some people from Arwani had visited the police station on Saturday.

“I will look into what has happened there,” he said.
