Free medical camp held in Srinagar

Srinagar: Well Care Medical Center (WMC), Soura and Fortis Hospital, Kangra Himachal Pradesh jointly conducted a free ENT camp on Sunday.
Dr Zafarullah Beigh, consultant ENT,Fortis Hospital examined and treated the patients with the health issues, a statement said. Beigh also offered counselling and health education to the people, it reads.
Basharat, a spokesperson of WMC said that the camp was extended upto 3 PM due to the overwhelming response from people. “We apologize to the patients who could not be attended due to the paucity of time and we assure that those patients will be adjusted on next visit of Dr Zafarullah in the last week of September,” he added.
Dr Masood ul Hassan, managing director WMC, said the camp is a part of our efforts to make basic healthcare accessible for all and we are trying our bit for the same.
“The main objective of these medical camps is to provide initial care to people in life-threatening conditions which reflect the unique strengths and goals of medical ethics,” he added.
