2 OGWs arrested in Ganderbal: Police

Ganderbal: Police on Sunday claimed that they have arrested two over ground workers (OGWs) in Saloora Patti area of this central Kashmir district.
A police official in a statement said that acting on specific information police conducted a raid in Saloora Patti in Ganderbal area. “During the raid, police seized a pretty good number of flags of Hizbul Mujahideen and other militant outfits, besides seizing Daggers, flag materials, stencils, paints, sewing machines and mobile phones containing incriminatory contents from a residential house,” he said.
The official said that two youths namely Irfan Ahmad Mir and Aushiq Hussain Baba, who are tailors by profession, have been arrested in the wake of unlawful activities.
“A case FIR number 139/2018 under section 13 ULAP and other relevant sections of Penal code stands registered in Police Station Ganderbal and investigation of the case is going on. Further arrests are expected in this connection,” he said.
