Handwara: At least 4 army men were injured in a gunfight with a group of “infiltrators” in Nowgam sector along the Line of Control (LoC) in police district Handwara on Thursday morning.
Official sources said that army’s 8 Bihar regiment posted near Sangam post detected suspicious movement on Thursday morning at about 9am. They were taken to the nearby army hospital from where they were shifted to army’s 92 base hospital in Srinagar, official sources told Kashmir Reader.
