Tricolour unfurled at JK house Delhi

NEW DELHI: Additional Resident Commissioner of Jammu and Kashmir, Yasha Mudgal, unfurled the National Flag on Wednesday at Jammu and Kashmir House here on the occasion of 72nd Independence Day celebrations.
A contingent of Jammu and Kashmir Armed Police presented the Guard of Honor on the occasion. The ceremonial function was attended by all the officers and officials of Jammu and Kashmir State posted at New Delhi.
The Additional Resident Commissioner said that the event is an occasion to remember the martyrs and freedom fighters who sacrificed a lot and made freedom for India a present reality.
Later, Additional Resident Commissioner interacted with the officers and officials of the House and distributed commendation certificates among the participants.
