Aug 14: Celebrations held in south Kashmir

Anantnag: Massive celebrations on the eve of Pakistan Independence Day were held Tuesday evening in different parts of South Kashmir, Anantnag town and Tral villages in particular.
As per reports the celebrations started in Anantnag early evening as a Pakistani flag hovered in the air tied to hot air balloons, in Sher Bagh area of the town.
Later in the evening youth burst fire crackers in the area and a couple of adjoining localities, including Mattan Chowk and Kadipora, as well.
Bursting firecrackers, the youth raised pro-Pakistan and anti-India slogans. Pakistani flags were waved by the youth in celebration as well. In Tral candles were lit as youth raised pro-Pakistan slogans in several villages, including Lurgam, Seer and Dadsara. Apart from waving Pakistani flags the youth had hoisted the flags at many places across these villages.
Firecrackers were also burst in the area. In Bijbehara town of Anantnag district, student of a college took out a rally to celebrate the day.
