Indo-Pak armies clash at LoC in north Kashmir’s Kupwara

Baramulla: India and Pakistan armies on Tuesday exchanged heavy gunfire in Tangdar sector of the frontier Kupwara district.

Pakistani troops violated ceasefire by attacking Indian posts along the line of control (LoC) in Tangdar sector in the wee hours today, SSP Kupwara, AS Dinkar told Kashmir Reader.

Indian troops, he said, retaliated to the unprovoked Pak firing.

“There are no reports of loss of life on our side,” he said.

On Monday, an army man was killed in firing by Pakistan Rangers in Tangdar sector.
