Pulwama: Panic gripped Wagam area of this south Kashmir district on Tuesday night when government forces opened fire after observing some ‘suspicious movement’

Police and CRPF troopers deployed at the court complex in Wagam area noticed some suspicious movement around 10:20 pm , a police official told Kashmir Reader.

Following it, the forces fired several shots in air, he added.

The gunshots caused panic in Wagam and its adjoining areas.

On Monday night too, government forces had fired warning shots after observing ‘suspicious movement’ around the district police lines Pulwama.

In June this year, two cops were killed by militants in a surprise attack at the court complex.
