Cloud burst in north Kashmir’s Kupwara cause flash floods

Srinagar: Panic gripped in Karnah area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Tuesday after a cloud burst at one of its upper reaches caused flash floods.

Sources said that the cloud burst took place amid rainfall in Karnah area due to which water including mud, stones and large trees entered the residential areas.

Soon after the incident teams of police and army reached the area for rescue operation, local sources said.

No reports of any lost of life or injury have reached so far however sources said that few houses received minor damages in the flash floods.
