Srinagar: Muslim League on Thursday condemned ransacking of houses of militants and the detention of their family members by security forces in south Kashmir and termed it “human rights violation”.
League spokesman Sajad Ayobi in a statement said, “Forces have turned state into a battlefield and have waged a war on civilians especially in South Kashmir and it is a sign of their frustration.”
Ayobi said that the forces have unleashed a “reign of terror” in the parts of South Kashmir. “Government of India must understand that the resentment and anger will continue to grow among the youth in Kashmir as long as the repression continues here,” he said.
“Such tactics will not break our resolve,” he concluded.
